Fuxing Carpet Paving Guide
Fuxing Carpet Paving Guide
Please read the paving guide carefully and pave according to the paving guide. For those not laid in accordance with the following paving guidelines, the problems arising will be the responsibility of the general wearer rather than the carpet manufacturer, and may result in the failure to enjoy the rights guaranteed by the product.
Environmental requirements
Fuxing carpets should not be laid on walls or damp walls. We recommend that carpets should be laid at temperatures of about 18-35 degrees Celsius, air relative humidity of 15-60%, and pH value of 5-9 in a better environment.
Paving surface preparation
Carpets must be laid on properly treated floors. All cracks, holes and irregular floors must be adequately corrected to ensure credentials and smooth appearance to prevent accelerated wear and tear. Before paving, the ground should be cleaned up, and the related articles should be removed to ensure that the ground is smooth and clean.
Carpets should be checked before paving
Before paving, the color, mass, quality of carpet and other damage during transportation should be carefully checked. If problems are found, the dealer should be contacted in time. Do not pave products with obvious defects, otherwise you can not enjoy the right of product warranty. The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage caused by the wrong pavement. Parts of carpet should be moistureproof and dustproof, should be placed on flat ground, long-term stacking should not exceed 5 boxes.
Tools needed
Scissors, cutters, rulers, tapes, marking pens, vacuum cleaners, spatulas, pH test paper, calcium oxide humidity test paper, hot air gun for repair, etc.
glue
Glue or double-sided glue should be used to fix the carpet on any uneven surface that cannot be leveled. It is suggested to use water-soluble environmental glue.
Tip: To protect your hands, thick gloves are usually worn when using glue and other tools.
Cutting block carpet
Usually from the back of the carpet cut pieces, first choose a piece as a reference, and to cut the back of the carpet piece line, along the delineated reference line cutting. Use glue or double-sided glue to fix the cut carpet to be paved. Principles to be followed in cutting: The area of carpet cut by paving should not be less than half of the normal carpet, otherwise it is not easy to fix.
Ground layout
Draw a precise picture of the area to be carpeted. Usually, the seam joints of the areas with the least traffic should be marked, and the positions of windows, doors, furniture and irregular angles should be indicated. Divide the room into four parts and draw a line with chalk. Convinced that the junction of the four zones is a right angle, using the method of 3-4-5 Pythagorean Theorem, the first line is perpendicular to the second line. Subsequently, verify the distance from the center line to the parallel wall to calculate the number of carpets used.
Block carpet paving
Each carpet has a printed arrow on the back. Starting from the cross junction at the center of the ground, using chalk lines as a reference, a carpet assembly is started in a partition. Continue to lay the carpet in step or pyramid shape from the center point. Pay attention to check whether each carpet is aligned at the edges and corners during the laying process. Make the carpet firmly together and paste it on the glue by pressing. In the course of laying, it should be ensured that the blocks are fast tightened and the four intersecting angles are at one point. If it is found that the intersecting angles are not at one point, it is usually caused by the loose laying and should be reworked.
Repair after laying
After laying, the overall effect should be checked. If a joint is found, it can be exchanged between blocks. If there is fuzzing phenomenon at the joint, it can be properly trimmed with scissors or blown with a hot air gun to make the wool shrink, but care should be taken when repairing, so as not to damage the carpet.
